The world renowned design and architecure company Snøhetta, modernist architect Erling Viksjø and artist Bård Breivik have made their mark on Lillehammer.

Lillehammer Art Museum as seen today has come to be in three stages, from 1963 to 2016. The Art Museum is made up of two distinct buildings which are connected by a glass bridge.
